Children just love to get their fingers dirty. So why not get a couple of plain terra cotta pots, earth and plants for your balcony, garden or living room, and get started!
Make sure the kids can choose their own plant at the local flower shop. They love to make their own decisions and it makes it more fun for them.
You can also let them decorate the pot before planting the herbs, plants or flowers they chose. Lay down some newspaper, put the pots up side down and give your kids paintbrushes and water colour (the terra cotta absorbs the paint so the rain cannot wash it off).
Your children are natural artists!
I say that they like to make their hands dirty but they also like to wash them afterwards. Their skin is thinner and more delicate than ours so chose a gentle soap. My son’s favourite is the rosemary-mint hand and body wash from AVEDA. It contains organic rosemary and mint which both are natural antisceptics.

植える物は近所のお花屋さんで子供達に選ばせましょう。自分で選んだ物を育てるのはまた格別の楽しみがあります。
それから、気に入った植物やハーブを植える前にまず鉢をデコレーションしましょう！新聞紙の上に鉢をさかさまに置いて、子供に絵の具とペイント用のブラシを持たせます。（テラコッタは絵の具を吸収するので雨にぬれても消えません。）
子供は生まれながらのアーティスト！
泥んこ遊びの後の手洗いも、子供達は大好き。子供の肌は大人より薄くて敏感だからマイルドな石鹸を選んであげたいもの。息子のお気に入りはAVEDAのローズマリー・ミントの石鹸です。手に優しくて自然です。
