Born to a Swiss Father an English Mother in the 70’ies, growing up in a small town in Switzerland travelling a lot to the UK as well as to the Mediterranean places like Greece, France and Italy.Grand daughter to Swiss writer Hannes Taugwalder I was drawn to writing and creating from an early age.
In Paris, I modeled for two years traveling to Milan, Tokyo, LA and Sydney. After having enough of being on the road I built my base in Paris doing the PR and sales for a Fifi Chachnil and then working at a buying office where my clients were the SFMoMA, Design Within Reach, Francis Ford Coppola amongst other accounts.
I followed my husband to Tokyo where I now live with my two kids. My kids’ first schooling was the Montessori education where they are educated in a non-competitive way focusing on their personal strength and rhythm. I very much believe in personalize education rather than trying to fit everyone in the same system.
Switzerland is quite advanced in terms of respect of nature, use of natural resources where all individual initiatives are welcome. At school for example the kids write on recycled paper, and we are raised to use local organic foods. Therefore it’s very normal for me to grow my herbs organically, order rice, fruit and vegetables directly from the farmer, make home-made jam and yogurt, and clean the house with biodegradable products only.
I love cooking and host the guests, which led me to cater for my husbands Press events in his fashion consulting company TFC Cpt.. Of course I used organic ingredients, which are healthier and tastier for the guests and created a relaxed atmosphere with flowers, candles and essential oils. I wanted his clients to feel at ease in a home like environment.
Like all girls I love shopping and I love fashion, especially for my children and their little friends’. This is why I decided to launch my own kids select shop ‘Abi Loves…’ which opened in Spring 2009 followed by my label ‘Abi Loves x’ in Autumn.

子供の頃は冬になるとスイスのツェルマットでスキーをしたり、夏休みはイタリアやギリシャ、南仏で過ごすなど、たくさんの自然に囲まれて育ちました。
スイスの作家、ハンス・タグウオルダーの孫娘として生まれ、幼少時から想像したりものを書いたりする才能を育てられました。
パリ生活をスタートした後、大手のモデルエージェンシーで２年間、ミラノ、東京、シドニーなどを拠点にモデルとしてたくさんのショーやファッション撮影を経験。
その後、ランジェリーデザイナーもとでプレスとして働いたり、パリの有名な商社でフランス製商品を海外へ輸出する仕事に携わりました。
2003年から夫と2人の子供と共に東京で暮らしています。
家族のために、庭でオーガニックのハーブを育てたり、農家から直接新鮮なお米やフルーツ、野菜などをお取り寄せして、手作りのジャムを作ったり、家事には地球に優しいエコロジカルな洗剤を使っています。
２人の子供たちへの最初の教育にはMontessoriの学校を選びました。競争せず、それぞれの個性やリズムを尊重する教育を受けています。
お料理、特に人をおもてなしするのが好きなので、2007・2008年には夫が経営するファッションコンサルティングの会社で、ケータリングの仕事も手がけました。
できるだけオーガニックの食材を使い、ゲストの方々に喜んでもらえるようなおいしくてヘルシーなものを、そして自宅のパーティーに呼ぶようなリラックスした雰囲気を作るため、お花やキャンドルをアレンジし、エッセンシャルオイルで素敵な香りを演出します。
もちろんファッションもショッピングも大好き！特に子供たちやお友達のためのバースデーギフトを探すのが大好き。
これがきっかけで、2009年春に、キッズのためのウェブセレクトショップ、‘Abi Loves…’を立ち上げることになりました。
