E-coloriage

This website is fantastic. I found it on one of my numerous internet expeditions. E-coloriage is bringing ideas to you on how to safe the planet in a natural almost hassle free way. We are all used to doing things a certain way, same as our parents. But sometimes it’s good to see how our Grandmas did stuff or to change the way cause a difference needs to be made for us, our children and childrens to come let alone to save our blue planet.

Back to the fun part, E-coloriage lauched by illustrator and designer Nicole Maubert, illustrates in a fun way things to do to reduce pollution etc. She invited 50 illustrators to participate in this project where every week two new illustrations are linked to a theme. Of course you can upload all illustrations and print (on recycled paper please). Soon to be launched is their colouring book on recycled paper, yey!

I have been asked to participate. So I let my kids select things they didn’t want to keep and the end result were four kids toy suitcases containing all different things-a bit like a surprise box. Their things are for now the only kids products available at the store.  Half of the sale of our things is going to a kids charity that Pass The Baton is working with.

PASS THE BATONのオーナーの言葉がその意味をよく表しています・・・

私も参加を求められていましたので子供たちにいらないおもちゃを選ばせました。その結果、全部中身の違ったサプライズボックスのようなおもちゃのスーツケースが4つもできました。それらはお店に唯一のキッズプロダクトとして並んでいます。売り上げの半分はPASS THE BATONが一緒に仕事をしてきたキッズチャリティに寄付されます。

-ask to get your invoices online (and delete them right away…I wish) – save paper, save trees, save time, save cost!! 

-eat vegan or ok ok at least eat less meat – cause lower carbon emissions. for that join Meat Free Mondays. Start one day and you’ll see. Soon you’ll be skipping meat dishes and feeling better, healthier as well as doing the Earth a favour.

-wash your clothes with cold water – telling you again and again. it does work! if there are any stained clothes, soak them in soap water (bio degradable one of course – eco vert is good) over night and wash them with the rest of the washing…full load please. You save water, save electricity,save  money.
