Owner and designer Nadja welcomes everyone with the sweetest smile and really knows what she’s talking about. As well as her own collection she carries designers from Europe and Japan such as Ulla Soucasse, GLENN, René Talmon…

So if you are ever looking for a gift for someone or for yourself , stop by there!

私が世界で一番好きなジュエリーショップはパリにあります。32 rue Ethienne Marcel にあるSaikiです。オーナー兼デザイナーのナジャはとびきりの笑顔で皆を迎え、会話を盛り上げてくれます。彼女のデザインだけでなく、お店にはヨーロッパや日本のデザイナー、Ulla Soucasse 、GLENN 、Rene Talmonなどの作品も並んでいます。

誰かに、そして自分に、何かプレゼントを探している人、お店に行ってみて！

Birthday Boy!

Mr James is 5!!! so proud to show all fingers on one hand to tell his age. All he really wanted were cars, trucks, motorbikes…anything with wheels! And that’s what he got.

I managed to find a social game called ‘Bus Stop’ ( I got at Bornelund) he seems to like too, oufff, there are wheels in the story! haha. And not having been able to find any nice rockets and robots (what’s going on with you toy inventors not to offer such classics!), I got him the book ‘This is the way to the Moon’ with lovely 1950′ies style illustrations of lots and lots of rockets!

James taking after his Grandpa who had a shoe factory, adores shoes. He chose two pairs from my shop: the green ones and the grey ones and he wears them every day in sunshine and in rain. My boy is so stylish! ; )

バースデーボーイ

Mr ジェームスが5歳になりました！年を数えるのに5本の指を広げられることが彼の自慢です。ジェームスが欲しがったプレゼントは車、トラック、オートバイ・・・車輪のついたものばかり！実際にもらったのも乗り物ばかりになりました。

私が選んだプレゼントは（ボーネルンドで見つけた）‘Bus Stop’というゲームです。彼も気に入ってくれた様子・・・だってゲームの中にたくさん車輪がついているもの！ロケットやロボットの良いおもちゃが見つからなかったので（おもちゃ屋さんはクラシックなロボットをお勧めしてくれないですからね。）絵本、‘This is the way to the Moon’をプレゼントしました。50年代風のイラストが可愛く、たくさんのロケットが出てくるお話です！

ジェームスは靴工場を持っていた祖父ゆずりで靴が大好き。私のウェブショップからグリーンとグレイの2足を選んで雨の日も風の日も履いています。私の息子はとってもスタイリッシュ！

omiyage traditon

I love this Japanese tradition of omiyage, Mitbringsel, souvenirs that are not cheesy tourist gifts but little cute delicious original gifts from a place sometimes to do with the place sometimes not.

My designer friend Masako who does MY Accessories on Abi Loves... brought me the lovely omiyage from beautiful Kamakura, little Kyoto close to Tokyo:

「お土産」という習慣

観光客用のやすっぽいギフトでなく、その土地のオリジナルや可愛いものをおすそわけするような日本の「お土産」という習慣が好きです。

I have been asked to participate. So I let my kids select things they didn’t want to keep and the end result were four kids toy suitcases containing all different things-a bit like a surprise box. Their things are for now the only kids products available at the store.  Half of the sale of our things is going to a kids charity that Pass The Baton is working with.

コンセプトは

なぜ新しいものを欲しがるの？

他の人がまだ使えるのに捨ててしまうの？

新しく作るばかりでなくリサイクルしてみたら？

PASS THE BATONのオーナーの言葉がその意味をよく表しています・・・

私も参加を求められていましたので子供たちにいらないおもちゃを選ばせました。その結果、全部中身の違ったサプライズボックスのようなおもちゃのスーツケースが4つもできました。それらはお店に唯一のキッズプロダクトとして並んでいます。売り上げの半分はPASS THE BATONが一緒に仕事をしてきたキッズチャリティに寄付されます。
