I scream you scream everybody scream – Ice Cream Time

It’s ice cream time and the best thing about it is that it will last till October…at least for us living in Tokyo ; ) As long as the temerature is above 20C we will love every bit of it!

Last week it was my daughters 7th birthday. She celebrated two times (lucky her). For the first occasion I made a classic strawberry sponge cake (which my son and his friend helped decorate). And for her girls PJ party her and her friends had this…

Berry vanilla ice cream cake. Yummmy! and this is how to make it:

-rinse, cut and sprinkle with sugar strawberries and any berries you like

-leave for a couple of hours for fruit to become soft, sweeter than sweet

-take a cake shape you like and line it with sarong wrap so that the plastic hangs over the edges (helps getting it out of the shape later)

-in the bottom of a cake shape place some of the fruit

-in a bowl mix vanilla ice cream with the rest of the fruit and fill up the cake shape with it

-cover with a sarong wrap, freeze till 10 min before needed. just enough time for the ice cream to soften a bit which makes it easier to get out of the mold.

-sprinkle with 100-1000 or any other sugar choco beeds, light candles :  Happy Birthday!

 

みんな大好き！アイスクリームの時間

アイスクリームの季節です。何といっても東京は気温の高い季節が長く、10月くらいまでアイスクリームを楽しめるのがいいですね。

先週は娘の7歳のお誕生日でした。彼女はラッキーなことに、今年2回もパーティーを開くことが出来ました。最初のパーティではクラシックないちごのスポンジケーキ（息子とお友達が飾りつけしてくれました）を作りました。2回目はパジャマパーティをしてお友達にベリーのバニラアイスクリームケーキを出しました。とってもおいしいので作ってみてください！

-いちごや好きなベリー類を洗ってカットし、砂糖をまぶしておく

-フルーツが柔らかくなるまで2～3時間置いておく

-ケーキ型にラップを敷いてアイスが固まった時に取り出しやすくしておく

-ケーキ型の底にフルーツをいくつか置く

-ボウルにバニラアイスクリームと残りのフルーツを入れて混ぜ、ケーキ型に流しいれる

-サランラップをかぶせて10分くらい冷やす。アイスクリームは少し柔らかめの方が取り出しやすい

-飾り付け用の砂糖やチョコレートビーズなどをトッピングし、キャンドルを灯して・・・ハッピーバースデイ！

sponge cake (mix same weight as eggs together : flower, sugar, butter). Add some vanilla sugar. Bake till done

let little fairies and spiderman help decorate the cake with whipped cream, 100 1000s, strawberries and sparkling candles

ハート型パンケーキ、フルーツはいちごとぶどう、お水とキャンドル・・・召し上がれ！

私のいちごケーキレシピ

スポンジケーキは小麦粉、バター、砂糖、卵を同量で混ぜて、バニラシュガーを少し加えます。オーブンで焼きあがったらケーキの上部を平らになるようにカット。

小さなフェアリーとスパイダーマンにホイップクリームのデコレーションを手伝ってもらいます。いちごとキャンドルを飾って完成。

There is no kids party without a party bag! I make them different every time keeping in mind to put something educational or/and creative, some sort of sweety and something to use, kind of practical. At the latest kids party I organised I had a clown Guido who made flowers, swords, butterflies etc. out of balloons for the kids to bring back home with them (if they didnt pop before they left).

Additionally to that I made eco-party bags. Using plain organic cotton bags the kids can re-use, personalize by drawing on them too. Since all children like to colour and love stickers and lets not forget chocolate. This is exactly what I put inside.

パーティーのお土産

お土産バッグのないキッズパーティーなんてありえない！パーティーバッグの中身を用意する時にいつも心に留めていることがあります。クリエイティブ、または教育的なものを一つ、お菓子を少し、実用的なものを一つ。先日のキッズパーティーでは、クラウンのGuidoに風船で花や剣、蝶々などを作ってもらいました。家に持ち帰って遊ぶことが出来ます。（割らないで家までたどり着けば・・・。）

それに加えて私が準備したのはエコ・バッグ。オーガニックコットンのバッグは無地なので子供たちが好きな絵を描いて、繰り返し使うことができます。塗り絵やシールが嫌いな子はいませんし、チョコレートも忘れずに入れなくちゃ。中身はこのようになりました。

Abi Loves…Online Shop Opening Party

 

We had the best time, the best weather, the best location for Abi Loves… shop launch Kids Party yesterday.

With the theme being kids party it truly was a great kids party. They loved to paint on the chalk walls, the clown Guido was just fabulous entertainment, Totoro playing on a big screen for the ones who wanted a rest, my tent – baby corner was always in use, the cakes, popcorn, sandwiches, grapes and vegetable sticks (organic of course), strawberry-marshmallow scewers, M&M’s, chocolate cigarettes went like they hadn’t eaten the whole day. As for the grown ups I think you all enjoyed my Cranberry Spritzer ; ) cheese plate and yes, some of you guys did let the M&Ms melt in your hand…

Ako Tanaka （Chief Editor of Numero TOKYO) came with her daughter, Sae Isshiki with the whole family, Yves Bougon (CEO of Lagardere), Sasaki-san (President of Tomorrowland Group), various stylists and editors from fashion and Kids magazines like Spur, Ginza, Elle, Harpers Bazaar, marisol, ViVi, CLASSY, nina’s, Pre-mo/Baby-mo, Martin & Yoshiko Webb, designers like Masako Yosano, Marielle Byworth, Maria H, a bunch of good friends….everyone with their kids. Happy to be there.

Absolutely wonderful day, wonderful experience, great reaction. Thanks to my staff for all your hard work. It ended up being a big production bringing half of my own home decoration to the TFC Press Room. All very much worthwhile!

Abi Loves…Online Shop Opening Party

昨日のAbi Loves…オープニングキッズパーティーは、最高のロケーション、日程、お天気の中で開催することができました。

子供向けのパーティーというテーマではかなり盛大なものになったと思います。子供たちは壁に設置した黒板に落書きをしたり、クラウンのGuidoの楽しい手品を見たり、休憩コーナーで大きなスクリーンのトトロの映画を楽しんだりしました。私の作ったテントはベビー用に大活躍。ケーキ、ポップコーン、サンドイッチ、ぶどう、の野菜スティック（もちろんオーガニック！）、いちごとマシュマロのスティック、M&M、タバコチョコレートはお腹をすかせた子供たちがあっという間に食べてしまいました。

大人の皆さんには手作りのクランベリー・スプライザーとチーズプレートが気に入って頂けたのでは？手に持ったM&Mが溶けてしまって大変だった人も何人か見かけましたが・・・。

Numero TOKYO編集長の田中杏子さんは娘さんと、Archiのデザイナーでもある一色紗英さんは家族全員で、アシェット婦人画報社CEOのイブ・ブゴン氏、トゥモローランド社長の佐々木さん、さまざまなファッション雑誌やキッズ雑誌（Spur、Ginza、Elle、Harpers Bazaar、marisol、ViVi、CLASSY、nina’s、Pre-mo/Baby-moなど）のスタイリストやエディターたち、 マーティン＆ヨシコ・ウェブファミリー、デザイナーの与謝野雅子さん、Marielle Byworth、Maria H、そのほかたくさんのお友達・・・みんな子供たちを連れて遊びに来てくれました！

素晴らしい１日、素敵な思い出がいっぱいのパーティーになりました。手伝ってくれたスタッフにも感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。自宅で使っているインテリアを半分くらいプレスルームに運ぶことになってしまったのですから。でも、その甲斐がありました！

Boys Birthday Party

My son is four today! He had a dozen of his best friends over for a playdate and had a blast! The ages varied from two to seven (and a half) years old. They played and had cool pirate tatoos.

The party table was decorated with tropical fruit plates, fake leafs, parrots, pirate cups… all found in various places. His favourite flowers: roses!!

Snacks like giant sembe, miniature choco and plain meringues, cigar biscuits, lollipops…from Cerfeuil in Omotesando. To drink there was water, no more sugar please!

Home made chocolate fudge cake served with whipped cream (see article ‘make it a special day’ for recipe) was on the order with a tennis racket as decoration he helped me with. My son loves to play tennis and has become an  addict since he joined the kids tennis club. And my Grandmother’s traditional desert: vanilla icecream with hot rawsperry sauce, meringues and whipped cream were available too.

The Mums enjoyed the cheese platter with organic dark grapes and bread straight from Paris bakery Poilane, with tea, coffee, lemon water.

In the party bag I put what all kids love, lollipops (from Cerfeuil), a notepad and miniature crayons, some stickers…all the kids need when you are out and waiting for your train, plane, lunch or hot cocoa. 

It was fun!

  海賊のパーティー     

 

今日で息子は４歳になりました！沢山のお友達を呼んで大騒ぎのパーティーになりました。２歳から７歳（と半分）の子供達が集まったので今回はすべての年齢を楽しませるゲームを思いつきませんでした。でも、子供達は好き好きに遊び、やりたい子にはタトゥーセットなどを出してあげました。

海賊パーティーのテーブルコーディネートは、南国のフルーツや、造花の葉、インコの人形、海賊の紙コップなどで演出。それから、息子の大好きなバラの花をテーブルに。

スナックはジャイアントせんべい、チョコレートとプレーンのメレンゲ、シガービスケットやキャンディなどを表参道のセルフィーユで買いました。飲み物はお水があれば十分。もう甘いものはいらないでしょう！？

手作りのチョコファッジケーキはホイップクリームを添えて。マリ・クレールのレシピブックを見て作りました。息子と一緒にデコレーションをしましたが、今一番はまっているテニスのラケットの絵を描きました。もう一つのデザートは私の祖母のレシピ。バニラアイスクリームに温かいラズベリーソースとメレンゲ、ホイップクリームをかけたものです。

ママ達には紅茶やコーヒー、レモン水と一緒にチーズプレートを楽しんでもらいました。一緒に添えたのはオーガニックのぶどうとポワラーヌのパンです。

お土産のバッグには子供が大好きなぺろぺろキャンディー、ミニチュアのクレヨンとノートのセット、シールなどを入れました。電車やランチを待つ間にあると便利でしょう？

Treasure Hunt Birthday Party

What a wonderful busy day we had today. We celebrated my daughters 6th birthday party at Shinjuku Gyoen with ‘Finding Neverland’ theme…apart form the fact that Neverland is the island of Peter Pan, Captain Hook and Tinkerbell, I loved the film with Johnny Depp (Finding Neverland). 

Children who are five, six and above need far less entertaining (although they love to play games). And having had only girls indoor birthday party for my girl made us want to get out of the habit and do something new. Shinjuku Gyoen is the most beautiful park in Tokyo and an excellent venue for a Treasure Hunt.

The kids love it. I got parrots from Tokyu Hands and wrote the place to look for the next clue on a colourful piece of paper and tied it around the neck of the first bird….it went on like that until they had five birds which brought them back to the picnic mat where they found the treasure…a golden box filled with golden cupcakes. Yummy! (for the recipee look up ‘My Mother’s Classic Sponge Cake’, add chocolate buttons in the middle of the cupcakes and sprinkle with golden sugar).

The other snackes were: 

-onigiri (thank you Yosano-san)

-veggetable sticks

-ham&cheese sandwiches

-sausages

-fresh fruit

-salty pop corn

-chocolate sticks and grape jelly (most snacks were organic from Natural House)

and each child had their own Evian bottle with a sticker on it so it was easy to find again.

For the grown ups who stayed and helped me during the party I made foie gras and fig confit & organic cheddar and plum confit sandwiches.

We had lots of games planned (rope pulling, egg run, sack run) but the kids were so happy to entertain themselves, makes bird nests, play hide and seek, catch me if you can and blow bubbles that they didn’t need more adult entertainment. One thing I had planned though was a face painter. Kazumi Nono came and did a wonderful job making butterfly, fairy, pretty girly faces and scary spiders and snakes on the boys arms.  

 

お誕生日会は宝捜し

今日は楽しい一日があっという間に終わってしまいました。新宿御苑での娘の6歳のお誕生会。テーマはネバーランド。ピーターパンやティンカーベルの島です。大好きな映画、ジョニー・デップのネバーランドをイメージしました。

5歳、6歳にもなると子供はそんなに手がかからないし、今まで家でしていたようなガールズ・パーティーもお決まりのようになってきていたので今回はちょっと変わったことをしたくて。新宿御苑はこの辺りで一番素敵な公園で宝捜しにもぴったりの場所だと思ったのです。

子供達も大喜び！東急ハンズで探したインコのおもちゃに宝の場所のヒントを書いた紙をくくりつけ、全部で５つのインコを探してメッセージを読んでいくと宝のありかにたどり着きます。宝物は・・・金の箱から出てきた、金色のカップケーキ。やったー！（レシピはMy Mothers Classic Sponge Cakeにあります。中にチョコチップを入れてゴールドのお砂糖をうえに飾ります。）

他に用意したスナックは、おにぎり（お友達の差し入れ）、野菜スティック、ウィンナー、果物、ポップコーン、チョコスティック、ぶどうゼリーです。（お菓子はナチュラルハウスで購入）子供達の飲み物はエビアンにそれぞれ好きなシールを貼って、誰のかすぐにわかるようにしておきます。

パーティーを手伝ってくれた大人用にはフォアグラといちじくのサンドイッチ、チェダーとプルーンのサンドイッチを用意しました。

他にも子供用に色々なゲームを予定していたのだけど、お友達同士でかくれんぼや追いかけっこ、鳥の巣作りなどを楽しそうにしていたのでもう大人の手助けは要らないのね、と成長を感じました。一つだけ、子供達へのお楽しみとしてフェイス・ペインターのカズミさんをお願いし、素晴らしい絵をたくさん描いていただきました。女の子には妖精やちょうちょのメイク、男の子にはスパイダーや蛇の絵を腕に。

Make it a special day

Everybody wants to be remembered on their birthday. Some like surprises, some like to organise a party themselves, some like it simple and some like it loud. Personally I don’t think it’s the present you receive that makes my birthday special but the little things….Let the day be your celebration. I don’t do anything extraordinary on my birthday nor do I like pompous surprises. What suits me best is to get together with my best friends and have a good time. And this is what I do for my kids:

Yesterday my daughter turned six (already!), lost two baby teeth and is gaining confidence daily!

With my husband away on his frequent business trips I ran the show myself. With a little brother who either turns the light on in their bedroom or opens the curtains when he thinks it’s time to get up (that is when its light outside at 5am!) I was up early to assure a smooth awakening for the birthday girl. 

The breakfast table was set with new plates from Madu. The soft scent of a Lily filled the kitchen, the presents were ready to be opened. The Heely’s from ‘ToysRus’ were a hit. We cant give enough exercise to the kids and when it’s fun it’s the best. The new pencil case (for the start Elementary school in September) will come in handy for the gorgeous colouring books from BonTon Paris and Isetan and funny games like ‘Das Malhaus’ from Bornelund . The Hello Kitty and jeans shorts were on the next day (H&M Tokyo opening in Autumn in Harajuku). The heart anklet (bought on our Easter trip on Virgin Atlantic) from her brother will surely be her favourite summer accessory together with the cute bag fromBonpoint and her notepad.

Good friends came over in the afternoon for a playdate and cake and my friend Kazumi Nono made us all feel very special with her beautiful pedicure session (she also does face painting for kids parties).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

LAYERED CHOCOLATE CAKE

what you need:

for the cake:75gr butter, 1tsp vanilla extract, 8 eggs, 1 1/3cups sugar, 2/3 cups cocoa powder, 1cup plain all purpose flour (add 3tsp baking soda)

for the filling: 375gr dark chopped chocolate, 3/4 cup cream, 155gr butter

what you do: 

cake : preheat oven at 180C, in one 25cm round cake tin put butter and cover with flour (so that the cake doesn’t stick to the mould when baked)

melt butter with vanilla in saucepan, set aside and cool slightly

mix eggs with sugar till light and creamy

sift cacao and flour twice and add to egg mixture, and fold in butter and vanilla gently

bake for 25 minutes till cake shrinks away from tin side; cool in tin and cut  in two or three layers.

filling: ovre low heat melt chocolate, cream and butter till smooth. refrigerate until cool; with electric mixer beat till light and fluffy; spread on layers and top of cake.

The kids made their own pizzas and had dinner together. Ready for bathtime and bedtime after an special day!

特別な日にしよう

自分のバースデーは覚えていてほしいもの。サプライズが好きな人、パーティーをしたい人、シンプルに祝いたい人、賑やかにやりたい人、色々ですね。私はというと、受け取ったプレゼントだけがお誕生日の特別感を高めるのではないと思います・・・ほんの小さなことでもお祝いの気持ちが伝わるような・・・。だから自分のバースデーは華やかなサプライズがあったり、いつもと違った豪華な出来事があったりするより、親しい友達と楽しい時間を過ごすことが一番のプレゼントかな、と思います。子供達にもそんなふうにしてあげたいです。

昨日は娘の6歳（早い！）のお誕生日でした。乳歯が2本抜けて、日々お姉さんらしくなってきました。

夫がまた出張で留守だったので、お誕生日のお祝いは私一人で頑張らなければいけません。目が覚めると部屋の明かりをつけるか、カーテンを開けてごそごそ動き出す小さな息子のおかげで（だって、毎朝5時になると起きだすんですよ！）私も早起きして娘のお誕生日の一日を盛り上げることができました。

朝食のテーブルにはＭａｄｕで買ってきた新しいお皿が並びます。ゆりの優しい香りがテーブルに漂い、プレゼントは開けられるのを待っているかのよう。トイザラスにあったローラーシューズは楽しいエクササイズになり、買って良かったと思いました。新しいペンケースはBonTonやイセタンの可愛い塗り絵と一緒に。秋から小学校へ行くお祝いでもあります。ボーネルンドの楽しいおもちゃ、H&Mのキティとジーンズは明日のお楽しみ。イースター休暇の時に旅行先で買ったハートのアンクレットは弟からのプレゼント。Bonpointのかごバックと同じく、娘のこの夏のお気に入りになることでしょう。

午後はお友達が遊びに来て、皆で遊び、ケーキを食べました。お楽しみに、私の友人のカズミさんを呼び、子供達にペディキュアをしてもらいました。彼女はパーティーで子供のフェイスペインティングもしてくれます。

レイヤードチョコレートケーキ

材料

ケーキ用：バター75ｇ、バニラオイル小さじ１、卵8個、砂糖１と1/3カップ、ココアパウダー2/3カップ、小麦粉1カップ（ベーキングソーダ小さじ３とあわせておく）

フィリング用：刻んだダークチョコレート375ｇ、生クリーム3/4カップ、バター１５５ｇ

作り方

ケーキ：オーブンを１８０度に温めておく。２5ｃｍの丸いケーキ型にバターを塗って小麦粉を振っておく（焼き型から出す時にくっつかないように）

バターとバニラをソースパンで温めて溶かし、あら熱をとる

卵と砂糖をなめらかになるまで混ぜる

ココアパウダーと小麦粉を2回ふるい、卵と一緒にして溶かしたバターも加えてさっくりと混ぜる

25分焼いて、ケーキ型のはしから生地が少し離れる位になったらオーブンから出して冷ます。冷めたらケーキを2つまたは3つにスライスする。

フィリング：チョコレート、クリーム、バターを滑らかになるまで弱火で溶かす。冷蔵庫で冷やし、冷たくなったらミキサーでふわっとするまで泡立てる。スライスしたところとケーキの上にフィリングを塗る。

Boys Ball Birthday Party

October 2007

James is turning 3!! And he loves to play with balls so why not make it the theme of his birthday party?! I made invites in red and blue, decorated with small circles.  A home made number 3 stamp was attached to the invite with the old fashioned paper clips which are round (Clipiola www.madu.co.jp). The thank you note on the party bag was round with a personal note. I made new flags out of a range of beautiful coloured paper to hang over the party table. 

The games were either ball games or boys games. 

**bowling: use three, four or more empty water bottles decorated in the theme of the party in this case round stickers. Fill them up ¼, ½ or more depending on how strong the guests are and play bowling.

**colourful paper cups put upside down, stacked with little Lego figures on top to play tumble it

**car race: three or four cars each race with a string attached in the front of each car rolled around an empty toilet roll. Ready-set-go!

**I let the kids make their own party bags. At Muji, for very cheap and for a good cause you can get various sizes of bags. I stamped my self made number 3 on each bag and then let the children decorate it as much or as little as they wanted. Those bags make great snack bags or as my kids use them, library bags. 

The birthday cake was one of my all time favourite classic sponge cake…but in the shape of a ball, and decorated like a beach ball. The kids loved the look of it and the colourful sweet icing. 

The other snacks were 

-freshly cut fruit, cucumber and carrots 

-popcorn

-small ham and cheese sandwiches

-mikan

and the drinks were water and home made mugi cha.

 

 

男の子のバースデーパーティー

ジェームスが3歳になりました！彼はボール遊びが大好きだから、お誕生日会のテーマはもちろんボール！招待状の色は赤と青、小さな丸の模様で飾ります。レトロな丸いペーパークリップに Maduで見つけたClipioraのもの）手作りの３のスタンプを押します。おみやげバッグにつけるサンキューカードも丸。テーブルの上にはきれいな色紙で作った旗を天井からつるします。

ゲームもボールを使ったものや、男の子らしい遊びを取り入れます。

ボーリング

パーティーのテーマに合わせて飾りつけした空のペットボトル（今日は丸いシールで模様をつけて）

を3-4個用意してボーリングをします。子供たちの年齢に合った難易度にするには、１/４から１/２くらい水を入れるといいと思います。

紙コップを逆さにしてレゴのキャラクターを上に乗せ、揺らして遊びます。

カーレース

ミニカーの前の部分に糸をくくりつけ、その先はトイレットペーパーの芯につなげます。誰が早く糸を巻き取って一番になるか競争です。用意、スタート！

子供たちにオリジナルのお土産バッグを作ってもらいます。MUJIには様々なサイズで安くてシンプルな袋がそろっています。手作りの３のスタンプを押しておき、後は好きなようにお絵かきしてもらいます。この袋は後でおやつようのバッグや、図書館用の袋などに活用できます。

バースデーケーキは私の得意なクラシックスポンジケーキ。でも、今回は丸い形にして、ビーチボールみたいなデコレーションにしてみました。子供たちはケーキの形と甘くてきれいなアイシングに大喜びでした。

他に出したメニューは

飲み物はお水と麦茶がいいですね。

 

Girls Butterfly Birthday Party

Now that my daughter has her very own friends I let her chose the guests to come to her girls birthday party. At five years old they love dressing up, making themselves beautiful and doing all sorts of girly things. Personally I enjoyed the girls party at this point very much. The whole party can be as girly as can be!

There are so many themes to pick for a party it’s fun! This time the party is a ‘Butterfly Party’. 

I found beautiful butterfly stationary at Spiral Aoyama. The butterfly mask we got from Tokyo Hands got in handy for this occasion. I copied it on thick white paper, but an elastic string and chose lots of things to decorate the masks with individually by each guest: feathers, stickers, paint, glitter…

The cake was a classic sponge cake which I cut out to look like a butterfly. My daughter helped me decorate it with lemon icing, 100 1000’s, silver sugar and what ever else we found in our cake drawer.

Over the party table I hang self made butterflies. Old wine cork, Hanami paper and silver wire made beautiful decoration. I even found some butterfly clips in a shop in Paris (Le Monde Sauvage) I used on the lamp.

The girls loved making their own butterfly mask. They made a wonderful job too!

In the corner of the living room I created a tattoo corner. Each guest could chose their favourite butterfly tattoo. 

I prepared a basket with Aloe Vera oil and Weleda body oil from Natural House and RMK make up glitter and they all made their own body glitter. Perfect for the next summer party!

 

 

 

Elizabeth has been going to lots of birthday parties where they had clowns and always asked me for one too. It was our birthday gift to her this year to have a surprise clown join her party. Gaetano was fantastic and showed real interest in who was there. After some tricks he made balloon flowers for all the girls. Thank you for the fun time!

 

 

 

 

 

The birthday snacks were a hit. Kids all like ice cream and with a little toppings (Smarites, sugar glitter, sugar hearts, chocolate pops, mini marshmallows) even the ice cream can be personalized. 

The party bag contained a thank you card for coming to the party as well as for bringing a present. It had the mask and the body glitter the girls made at the party. fireworks, bracelets, butterfly stickers and a mirror for admiration.

娘のお誕生日は親しい女の子ばかりのパーティーにしようと思い、二人で招待する人を考えました。5歳にもなるとドレスアップしておしゃれをして・・・と女の子っぽいことが大好きになります。私もガーリーなパーティーは大好きなので今回はぜーんぶ女の子らしく決めることにしました。

パーティーのテーマを考えるのも楽しみの一つ。選んだテーマはバタフライです。

青山のスパイラルマーケットできれいな蝶の柄が入ったレターセットを見つけました。それから、東急ハンズで蝶の形のマスクを買いました。白い厚紙にコピーをしたものを子供達に配り、羽根やシール、キラキラペンなどを使ってそれぞれにデコレーションしてもらいます。両端にゴムをつければ、オリジナルのお面ができあがります。

ケーキは手作りのスポンジケーキをちょうちょの形にカットします。娘と一緒にレモンのアイシングを塗ってシルバーのシュガーでキラキラに飾って、あとはアイデアが浮かぶままに色々な模様を描きます。

テーブルの上には、手作りの蝶が飛んでいます。ワインのコルクに千代紙で羽根をくっつけシルバーのワイヤーで吊るします。パリのLe Monde Sauvageで買ったちょうちょのクリップもランプに飾ります。

女の子達は蝶のお面作りがとても気に入った様子で素敵な作品が出来上がりました！

リビングルームの片隅にはタトゥー・コーナーを作りました。好きなちょうとを選んで腕に貼ります。

それから、ナテュラルハウスにあったウェレダのボディーオイルとアロエオイルにRMKのグリッターを混ぜてボディー用のグリッターを作りました。夏のパーティーにつけて行くと可愛いでしょう？

娘がお友達のパーティーに招待されると、よく手品やバルーンを作ってくれるピエロが登場します。自分のお誕生日にも呼びたい、というたっての希望で、私達からの誕生日プレゼントはサプライズで呼んだピエロのGaetanoです。いくつかの手品をしてくれた後に、女の子全員にお花のバルーンを作ってくれました。ありがとう！

パーティーのおやつは大人気でした。子供の大好きなアイスクリームに好きなトッピングをします。スマーティー、グリッターシュガー、チョコレート、マシュマロ・・・。アイスクリームも自分達のオリジナルです。

お土産のバッグにはサンキューカードと一緒にパーティーで作ったお面とボディーオイルを入れて渡します。ほかにはブレスレットやシール、おしゃれした自分を眺めるために必要な鏡も。

そして、パーティーに来てくれた小さなプリンセス達の笑顔は最高でした。心温まるパーティーになって良かった！
